The IATI is a voluntary, multi-stakeholder initiative that aims to make information about aid spending easier to find, use and compare. Its purpose is to help implement the transparency commitments made at the Accra Agenda for Action in the most consistent and coherent ways.


No numerical targets were set.


There were 109 new publishers to IATI in 2013, bringing the total number of publishers at the end of the year to 210. Many of the new publishers represent international, regional and national NGOs, philanthropic foundations and academic, training and research organisations, as well as the first private sector companies.


No numerical targets were set, thus it is difficult to measure a gap.


The IATI aims to implement the commitments on transparency made in the Accra Agenda for Action.
